Things are Looking Up

I never did finish documenting my trip. Rest assured, it was an awesome trip. And the moral of the story: Kristen and I are engaged. I’ve actually been working on writing up the other days behind the scense, but time is always the limiting factor. Eventually, I’ll get them all up there. I’ve actually got a couple other related projects going, too.

Marrage

So. I’m gonna be getting married. I couldn’t be more excited about it, either. It’s still a ways off, and there is much planning to be done, but the wheels are in motion. I can’t wait.

The one thing I hadn’t really considered when I decided to propose was engagement. The more we get into the planning of this thing, the more I realize what a big todo it is. For some reason, I was thinking I would just propose and we would get married. As it turns out, you have to pick a place, and flowers, and a dress, and a suit, and a cake, and napkins, and invitations, and colors, and this, and that, and who knows what else. Being engaged is hard work. I guess what I really mean is, I want to be married, I don’t want to get married. Oh well. You do what you gotta do.

  1. That’s so cute! Guys never think of the hard work going into the wedding until it happens. So you’re not alone. You can always talk to Jay for support, hahaha.
I can’t wait until it happens for you guys too! Best wishes!
