This is just so cool. Someone converted a few seconds of the matrix to an animation using ASCII art. This is not flash, java, or quicktime. This is a real HTML document using only javascript for help. Even if you’re not into the technical stuff, check this out.

The domain is a .edu, which means this was probably a college project.
Note: It’s highly unlikely someone typed every frame in by hand. They probably wrote some program to interpret the video into the letters. Very impressive.
